Synergy is the goal here. This involves aligning one's own purposive activities with others' such that, together, new possibilities are disclosed. This can involve collaboration on common goals, or it can involve actively pursuing different but compatible goals. There's a great deal of overlap between the goals and activities involved here and the goals and activities involved in working toward the flow state. See A3.
