The Q, U, and Z-nodes represent modes of experiencing in the I-phase, modes of attending in the O-phase, and modes of valuing/evaluating in the A-phase.
U of W (in I) = experiencing as dynamic; U of N (in O) = rhythmic attending; while U-proper (in A) = currently valuing (by doing/allowing).
The spheres represent the ultimate cyclic/recursive character of any activity (experiencing, attending, or valuing).
The letter U is used to represent this node primarily given the relation of its proposed numerical value (500) to the other A-phase nodes as arranged in a magic square. See letter A for an explanation.
The letters U and W were derived relatively recently from the classical Latin V, which ultimately has its root in the ancient letter vav. This Project's U and W nodes are key nodes, each involving the doubly-dynamic discursive, reciprocal, part-to-whole hermeneutic activity that thematically permeates this entire Project (as captured by the torus symbol).
